whats the difference between a Brass Celtic Whistle, and a Nickle Irish Whistle other than they’re dif. metals?

is there a difference in tone at all?
The tone is produced mostly by the head, which is plastic for virtually all cheap whistles. The body material contributes very little, other than looks of course.
Also note that the quality of these mass-produced whistles varies from one specimen to the next. If you have the opportunity, it is worth trying out several of them in a store to find the one you like. On the other hand, these whistles are relatively easy to “tweak”, which can make a big difference in tone.
